Reviews
I felt very welcomed when walking through the doors I was greeted. They have really good prices on meats lunch meat cheeses and all of there other products on the shelf. Upon checking out the gentleman was very kind to me and my family as checkout was an ease. It was a wonderful experience and you should go experience for yourself too.
I have enjoyed this store for years, it is clean neat with a good variety , helpful knowledgeable staff . Three things I almost always can get here are Linzer Tarts , pastrami and prosciutto . It is wheelchair Accesible and very nice wide aisles , it was as is normal for pandemic pretty low on some inventory .
Well years ago I would have given it a 10 rating but today is an entirely different situation. I don’t know if their freezers weren’t working or what but the smell was totally off. I don’t like making a comment like that about a store here in Erie because I love buying local
They have new owners again. Nothing on shelves. Dirty store except for the meat department. That was clean. Only one cashier. Very poor produce. Was not happy
Stopped because you know low in money.
Their pork chops were as grey as the sky.
Their ground chuck was also grey to color.
Their produce was all welted a rotting. They had fruit flies every where
The staff is amazing. The man that works with the meat/fish is a superior butcher. He remembers me and my preferences ( Amazing cuts of steak and great hamburger meat! Excellent customer service!
The gentleman at the deli counter is very pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable.
The young lady at the register is always smiling, and is attentive to how she bags your purchases (ex. No raw meat with fresh produce).
Unfortunately, quite a few of the healthcare/hygiene, cleaning, and bug killer products by the Games of Chance/Slots were expired? Some of the items are well priced so it's worth looking through.
There are many unique items in the center of the store that you simply must see for yourself. There are many flavors of Coffee Beans and there is even a machine to grind them right there.
I'm not a smoker, but I believe near the registers there are smoking products, and it looked like some cell phone accessories like chargers. The place is huge so I have not even taken it all in.
Years ago , with a prior owner this place was great. Very fresh food. Excellent prices. New owner, fresh strawberries had mold. Empty vegetable bins. Prices better in regular chain supermarkets. Place use to be packed, especially first of the month. Today nearly empty.
The store has suffered the effects of covid and has down sized alot of the items that they have stocked from what they once had. The one thing I have always liked about Erie County Farms is their friendly staff and their butchering services. They are willing to cut your meat anyway you like it.
I use to Love coming into town and getting my smith Hotdogs & buffalo wing hot cheese from Erie county farms. they are clean and were most kind. Today i went there to get my usual and the older lady at the cheese counter said "This LADY IS MY LAST CUSTOMER" i hadn't even made it to the counter fully. she repeated herself followed by we close at 5pm and i have to clean my machines. I said cool and then walked away. i thought it was close to 5 but when i looked at my clock it was 4:30 pm. i turn to ask her what time they open in the morning...she said this is my last customer! I said i just want to ask what time are you open tomorrow. she said we open at 10 Monday morning...I said tomorrow is Tuesday ma'am. she just didn't want to help me at all!!! guess what? I found that same cheese at Gordan butcher and meat market I WILL NOT SHOP AT ERIE COUNTY FARM AGAIN.
